    Hello jasmijn
Seriously impressed with your cycling skills!
Have just completed the brands hatch revolve 24 hr ride fir a laugh….. did it in a team of 4 …. we were hopeless…. I lacked strength, endurance, power up the hills etc.
I have got to go back next year and do better!
Can you advise or point me in the right direction, please….. and get me a new pair of legs, lungs and heart.
    Best. Pj.

I found this really helpful.. Had a DVT the years ago and then pulomonary embolisms in right lung this week.. now home on meds and contemplating how best to get back in the saddle. I liked tone of your article and your sharing of the practicalities of regaining fitness. Very encouraging. Thanks

    1. Sorry to hear about your recurring DVT/PE. My friend Karen Poole wrote this blog, which you may find helpful too: http://www.cyclingtorque.com/blogs/dvt-awareness-elite-cyclists-personal-perspective/
